Emily E. Gleason is a member of the firm’s employment law team. She represents schools, higher education institutions, nursing homes, religious institutions, and corporations in all areas of employment law. Ms. Gleason is also a co-author of the firm’s annual Employment Law Manual.

 

In addition to her employment litigation experience, Ms. Gleason has defended several clients in the area of complex civil litigation. She has worked on a range of cases, including personal injury, construction, and commercial matters.

 

Ms. Gleason joined the firm after graduating magna cum laude from the John Marshall Law School. During law school, she was a lead articles editor for The John Marshall Law Review. She received CALI Awards of Excellence for earning the highest grades in Contracts I and Illinois Civil Procedure. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Gleason worked as a financial analyst for the Northern Trust Company.
