Leah A. Fuessel
Ms. Fuessel focuses her practice primarily in the defense of retail establishments in personal injury and premises liability cases.
Prior to joining the Firm, Ms. Fuessel was a law clerk at a litigation firm in Joliet, Illinois, where she gained experience working on various civil matters, including breach of contract and personal injury claims, and government and municipality law. Additionally, Ms. Fuessel served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Robert W. Gettleman in the Northern District of Illinois.
Ms. Fuessel obtained her Bachelors in 2014, magna cum laude, from the University of St. Francis, where she was named a 2013 and 2014 Daktronics Scholar Athlete and part of the CCAC All-Academic Team. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School in May of 2017. During law school, Ms. Fuessel was Treasurer of the Sports, Communications, and Entertainment Law Forum, as well as a member of the Journal of Legislation. Prior to graduating, Ms. Fuessel was awarded the Jon E. Krupnick Award for Excellence in the Art of Trial Advocacy.
