Marcia Przeslawski’s practice focuses primarily on complex civil litigation matters in both federal and state court. Marcia represents and defends individuals and commercial and not for profit corporations who are sued in a variety of tort and commercial disputes. She also counsels clients on transactional matters, including contract drafting, policy formation, and compliance issues.

Prior to joining Kopon Airdo LLC, Ms. Przeslawski was a litigator at a securities and business litigation boutique representing and advising business owners, investors, and financial professionals in a variety of disputes filed in court, as well as cases filed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority. Przeslawski is experienced in prosecuting and defending claims of wrongful termination, defamation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and negligence.

Marcia graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2017 and was admitted to the Illinois Bar as well as the General Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. During her law school career, Ms. Przeslawski was president of the Corporate Law Student Association, and was a member of the John Marshall Trial Advocacy and Dispute Resolution program, through which she competed nationally in arbitration and negotiation competitions. Furthermore, Ms. Przeslawski was a teaching assistant for classes on contracts and torts. She also gained practical experience by clerking in a litigation firm and by enrolling in many of The John Marshall Law School’s legal clinics, including the Pro Bono Litigation Clinic, the Business Enterprise Law Clinic, and The Fair Housing Support Center and Clinic.

Ms. Przeslawski volunteers with The John Marshall Law School’s Trial Advocacy Dispute Resolution program, judging and coaching teams that compete nationally each spring and fall in negotiation, mediation, and arbitration competitions.
