Mr. Greely’s practice focuses on complex commercial and insurance defense litigation in both state and federal court. He has handled a variety of litigation matters including contract disputes, premises liability, construction negligence, and copyright and trademark infringement cases. In doing so, Mr. Greely has represented a diverse client base, ranging from large corporations and government entities, to individuals and small businesses. He also regularly participates in alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and arbitrations.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Greely has a wide range of commercial transaction experience, having handled commercial real estate closings, stock acquisitions, and commercial financing matters. He regularly works with clients on drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts. Mr. Greely has also filed applications for trademark and copyright registration, and advises clients on intellectual property-related matters.
Mr. Greely attended his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan, and received his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2007. He is a member of the Illinois Bar and is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern District of Illinois and the Northern District of Indiana.
