Ryan E. Larson
Ryan Larson’s practice focuses on not-for-profit and religious organizations. Mr. Larson represents religious institutes, religiously sponsored ministries, and educational institutions. Mr. Larson advises clients in litigation and corporate matters, including consulting with educational institutions and their religious sponsors regarding the opportunities presented by recent Illinois legislation impacting private schools, their donors, and students from low-income households.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Larson gained considerable civil litigation experience at a firm in the Chicago suburbs. He represented individuals and small businesses in a variety of disputes, including commercial litigation, personal injury, family law, and probate matters.
While in law school, Mr. Larson received the Andreas Family Fellowship, a scholarship for students with a demonstrated commitment to public service. Additionally, he clerked for both the DuPage County State’s Attorney’s Office and the St. Joseph County (Indiana) Public Defender’s Office.
Prior to law school, Mr. Larson served as a First Lieutenant (Chaplain Candidate) in the United States Army Reserve.
